So, I watched Alex Jones and Tucker last night. I have to admit, I thought Jones was a bit of a nutter….because, once again, I SADLY kinda believed the hype around him. He actually seemed like a fairly rational, but overtly passionate person. He has an incredible knowledge base, don’t let his bombast fool you. He is genuinely informed.
So what? Who cares about my opinion? Why should anyone listen to a veterinarian who doesn’t hold any specific titles and has absolutely zero political power. Why listen to what I have to say?
Because I am nobody and everybody at once. I represent the millions of nobodies who sit at home wondering what the absolute idiots in power are going to do to screw up our lives today. I joke with my husband that, when we have finally achieved some modicum of financial stability, the idiots in charge are trying to end the world. Geez guys, couldn’t you wait 20 or 30 years until after I’m dead and THEN have your world ending party?
I did not want to be involved. Until 2016, I never even voted. I mistrusted ALL candidates, not just the party I disagreed with most. They all seemed like the same ice cream but different flavors. Then, along comes Trump, whose not ice cream at all he’s a big fat bone in ribeye. I had to vote for him. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t think he’s any kind of messiah. He’s a disrupter though, and we NEEDED that. Our country was fast sliding down the hill into a full blown version of the movie Idiocracy.
When he was elected, I felt like I helped do something. Then 2020 happened. Now, we all know that Puddin Pop in the big white mansion on Pennsylvania Avenue did not get more votes than Obama. He certainly didn’t get more than Trump. How they cheated is the ONLY question. THAT they cheated is obvious to anyone with more than two synapses firing.
Ahhhh, heavy sigh, back to sliding down that hill again. And that would have been OK. Yeah, they cheated, but they’ve likely cheated before. It wasn’t unexpected, really and it’s kind of something that’s part of the system at this point. BUT…..when they started going after Trump in court, well that was too much. That took it to a whole new level. This coddlewaps in DC weren’t happen to just win….they wanted to destroy any chance of anyone ever thinking of going against them again. I hate to use this idiotic catch word…but it’s freakin EXISTENTIAL.
So, nobody here thinks that EVERYBODY needs to get up off their couch and do something. It could be something little. You don’t have to storm any buildings that are publicly owned or anything….but DO SOMETHING. Refuse to use the stupid pronouns, politely of course. Don’t be afraid to say your white male coworker is actually a good guy and a good worker. Don’t be afraid to treat black people like PEOPLE….they want the same things we do, but a wedge is being driven and we have to knock it down. We aren’t racists and they aren’t oppressed and we need to say it loud and proud.
As far as the election upcoming. I fear something ominous. A lot of people do. Since I never win at the lottery, I wouldn’t hang you hat on my predictions, but I feel like something is coming. My dream team? Trump for President, DeSantis as VEEP, RFK Jr as Attorney General(with REALLY good security) and Vivek Ramaswamy somewhere that he can use that razor tongue to full effectiveness. Please keep Tucker right where he is. We NEED journalists like him outside of government. Make him part of government and the magic is gone. But for Press Secretary, we need someone amazingly tough and in your face….Kare Lake would be amazing in my opinion.
But this is just according to Nobody. We may all feel like Nobody by ourselves, but if we ALL stand up together, we become a big bunch of somebodies. It’s time to say NO to all the idiocy. Quit apologizing for your existence. Reach out to people you disagree with…..talk to them. Don’t call them names, converse. You’ll likely find we have way more in common that the ‘news’ tells us we do.
